Personality:
Casimir is something of a mystery to everyone who has met him. Most werewolves have heard of the mysterious werewolf who arrived from Europe in the mid 1700s and who carved out a large territory for himself, but most disregard those stories when they meet him for the first time. Not only is Casimir not dominant in his physical size and body language, but his personality is very much submissive. He will allow himself to be cowed by more dominant werewolves, even to the point of utter humiliation, but on one of the few occasions when he talks, Casimir never raises his voice.
Of course, that personality is very much false. While Casimir may appear to be mild mannered and submissive, he is perhaps one of the most dangerous, most dominant werewolves to have ever lived, as evidenced by his age. The submissive act is something that the ever practical Casimir sees as necessary, in order to prevent the American packs from seeing him as the threat he really is. Though difficult, milennia of practice have allowed Casimir to hide his dominance in all but the most stressful of situations.
This ability to hide his dominance comes at a cost. Although it builds up slowly, Casimir's wolf form gradually becomes angrier and angrier at submitting to lesser wolves, leading to an eventual rampage. These rampages are not small, either. Dholavira? That was the very first rampage. Iram of the Pillars? Well, let's just say that it wasn't just shifting sands and a changing climate that did for Iram.
These rampages are the key to Casimir's real personality. The reason why he continues to submit to other werewolves in spite of the rampages that causes is that Casimir loves being out of control and slaughtering thousands, even tens fo thousands of people. That cruelty and love of blood even shows through, from time to time, when Casimir is forced to defend himself or finds someone he particularly wants to kill. He will show no mercy and will kill them quickly and brutally.
Then we come to the fact that Casimir was born in a time when slavery was legal and the spoils went to the victors. He has no moral objections to taking what he wants, whether it's money or a woman, although he rarely does so these days. He also has no problem with befriending someone in order to gain from their death.
So, in a nutshell, Casimir may appear extremely submissive, but he's a blood thirsty monster with everyday morals vastly different from the accepted modern day norm. Poke him at your own peril.

History:[/ul]
Casimir was born in a small village in the foothills of the Ural mountains, near Ukraine. His family were part of the village's warrior class, and so he was raised learning how to fight, how to kill and how to seize the possessions of another village. Ranked above the villagers but below the priests, Casimir had a fair amount of power, even as a young boy and he often participated in the beatings the other children of the warrior class would give to the children of farmers.
When Casimir was sixteen, he was sent out alone on a very special hunt. He was to kill a wolf and bring its body back to the village, where it would be skinned and made into a cloak for him by his mother. When he stood before the village elders, clad in the cloak, he would eat the reproductive organs and heart of the wolf and so become a man, a true warrior. What actually happened was that a wolf hunted him.
The wolf was, of course, a werewolf and it stalked Casimir for three days. It had been badly injured in a fight with another werewolf, and had fallen hard on some silver ore. The silver had caused wounds which should have healed immediately to fester, and the wolf was weak and very hungry.
Casimir allowed the wolf to stalk him, but always had a plan. He lead it into a narrow crevasse and, when its shoulders became stuck, climbed up above the wolf and dropped a boulder on its head. The wolf had the last laugh, though, when it clawed Casimir's head as he approached what he thought was a corpse. Casimir did not make that mistake a second time. He crushed the wolf's head to a pulp with another boulder and severed it from its body.
Casimir was hailed as a hero on his return, and the priests declared him as having been blessed by Dyeus Ph2tēr himself. That elation did not last long, though, because a month later Casimir became an enormous monster and destroyed his entire village.
Carving a path of destruction as he headed, on a whim, in the direction of the Indus Valley, Casimir rejoiced in the destruction he wreaked and the power he had. As such, he was not expected to be captured in a deep, deep pit by warriors from what would eventually become the city of Dholavira. He was imprisoned for several months, until the priests worked out what to do with him. Instead of killing him, as the warriors wanted them to do, the priests taught Casimir how to meditate and make peace with the world.
Things went pretty well for a time, until around 1900 BCE, when Casimir could stand being under the control of the priests and doing their bidding no longer. He wiped out every living soul within twenty kilometres of Dholavira and left, wandering the world.
A pattern soon emerged. Casimir would arrive somewhere and establish himself as a respect member of the community. People would come to see him as the descendant of the gods and pay tribute to him or, in the case of kings, try to kill him. Eventually, Casimir would tire of being in that place and leave. Every once in a while, he would go berserk as a result of controlling his dominance and submitting to the law of the land. Many of the demon wolves we know today, like Fenrir, are based on Casimir and his outbursts.
Eventually, Casimir emigrated to America, where he carved out a large territory for himself. However, once the first pack was formed, he reduced his claim significantly and promised not to interfere with the pack or its politics. To this day, he has ostensibly kept his promise, although he has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to orchestrate the destruction of the packs and the Alphas who he must obey. After all, strong as he may be, even Casimir cannot take on a pack, and he has no desire to rule over other werewolves, so challenging the Alpha is no good.
