Welcome to Holly Point, Georgia, a town with a population
of approximately 1,806 people. a picturesque little town that
all other little towns wish they could be. Here, the things that
every other town in America has come to expect as a staple are
completely absent. It's as if what rules the rest of the world doesn't
apply and nothing truly bad or ugly ever penetrates their little
bubble of tranquility and joy.
Just kidding. This is a small town, not Stepford.
But Holly Point really is a quaint little place, and it really does
sort of exist in its own little bubble; most of the stores are locally-
owned (but they do have a Target!), and the police department's
biggest assignment in the last few weeks was helping to decorate
the town square for New Year's Eve. But like every other place in
the world, there's real-life drama - there are people involved, of
course there's drama - and people with issues, secrets, relationship
problems, and craziness in their lives.
Some of them have lived here their whole lives, some of them
come from families who have been here as long as anyone can
remember. Some have come to work, some have come to play,
some have come to run away from something else. Some are
just passing through, some are looking to maybe stay - but they'll
be considered visitors until they're not anymore. This is a tight-
knit community, and people will be watching you. Make sure you
put your best foot forward.
Holly Point's a great place. But the people are what make it great.
It's good to be back home again.
