Personality:
Nika is about as friendly as a cactus and she doesn't really care either. Though she doesn't normally start a problem she'll always be sure to finish any situation, she isn't the type of woman to lay low and let a man fight for her. She's a warrior to the bone and even when a battle needn't be fought Nika will almost always volunteer herself before even knowing the cause for her fight.
Past all the fighting though, Nika is also an extremely dedicated woman, which might be just the reason why she's never held down any relationship for any length of time. There is no in between for Nika, she's either fully dedicated or completely detached she will never start anything she can't be assured will not end up burning her, she's never been burned and wouldn't want to be because for all the strength she's known to have, Nika doesn't want to know what it would do to her if her heart, trust, or spirit were broken and she's not willing to find out either.

History:
Nika is the eldest child of Roman and Annice Volkolv and from the start they could tell that this child would be more than a handfull for the couple. Nika had always been independent, and aside from independent she was definitely assertive. There are natural born leaders and then there was Nika. She didn't ask, ever, she told and you listened for the sake of your health. It wasn't that her parents had taught her that fighting was the only way it was that it Nika was going to get something done right, it was going to be her way, whether it was fighting or hunting Nika was tops and she did it on her own by choice.
That was of course until her younger brother was born, by the time Ami had come around Nika had already been well established as somewhat of a bully by others her age and a few of the older draconians she'd played with but when it came time for her brother to come out and play if he wasn't happy someone was going to bleed. That's how it was from childhood on really, the only thing ever really changing in Nika's life is the move from Tula to the states, something she detested but supposed she could understand. There was unrest in their home and her and her brother were young and regardless of the strength her parents possessed they wanted to keep their children away from more war than they possibly needed to see.
Nika grew up happy enough, She thrived for fighting though and had shown a knack for it from near infancy. Nika picked a fight with anyone and just about everyone maybe not always winning but always leaving her mark. She may not be the friendliest or most compassionate person in her clan but Nika is well known and trusted, so even if she's got a need to run her mouth Nika will never leave her clan to fend for themselves, never.
