Bradley nodded, as she explained why she tended to hang out with Hufflepuffs, Bradley had some friends that had been in other houses but he tended to mostly hang out with his fellow Gryffindors. “Well I guess that’s understandable. I can’t blame you for that. I wasn’t a big one for sneaking out, but the time I got to my seventh year I started to get more daring.” Bradley had mostly followed the rules simply because he didn’t want to get a detention and miss practice which would hurt his team.
Bradley smiled when she offered to go cheer him on, it would be nice having a cheering section again. Bradley had gotten use to having his own cheering section and banners. “That would be great, it should be a good season. I know they were competitive last year, but considering it was their first year in the league it was probably pretty hard on them.” Bradley had gone to watch one of the games last year, and he knew he was being nice, they had a good keeper and beaters which was important, so he hoped he’d be able to make an impact on the offensive side. “Practice hasn’t started but I worked out with a couple of them last week and it wasn’t too bad, it kind of felt like Hogwarts just much faster. Bradley smiled, he’d enjoyed his first session and was amazed at how fast everything moved, it had taken him a second to get use to the pacing of the brooms, which had caused his first couple of passes to fall way behind his team mates. “I’m a chaser.” Bradley said smiling at her.
Bradley had come from a pretty modest income family, so now being a highly paid quiditch player he didn’t know what to do with his salary. He’d paid off his parents house and just bought himself a new house in Hogsmeade, but he still has plenty of money left over, even after he’d taken his little brother to go on his shopping trip for his first year at Hogwarts. “Yeah, I guess, I just feel kind of bad making that much, but it’s what they offered me, and there are still chasers that make more than me, and holy crap, if I was a seeker…” Bradley couldn’t get over how much seekers made, he was going to try to encourage his little brother to learn how to play seeker.
“Yeah, we’ll have to do that sometime, when you know it’s not like one o’clock in the afternoon. Bradley laughed slightly as the waitress finally brought their peppermint meades to them. Bradley took a sip and smiled waiting for her to try hers. “Well, what do you think?”
Bradley smiled as he thought about taking a trip to Zonko’s; “I might need to make a trip over there, I’ve never gone there without a budget. It could be a good place to start trying to figure out what to do with my money.
