Welcome to Orien


The year is 32,894 and earth has seen its end and rebirth. The old world of man and machine has destroyed itself through nuclear war and corruption. Earth is rebuilding, with it so has the evolution of man himself. As a result of this rebirth things have changed. In what is known as the country of Orien, a land that closely resembles what we once knew as the Medieval times, is where Lycans and humans are constantly trying claim the territories of the healing planet. Powerful forces known as "The Fury", and "Guilded Wolf" silently influence the lives of the lycans. Average humans not involved in these societies and there beliefs are oblivious to the fact that lycans exist and are slowly outnumbering the human popluation.

Difficulty: Everyone is welcomed, though we are a literate and mature themed role play.
Plot/Intro: During the summer in Memoir, God's absence from the city began to show. People began to riot in the streets destroying businesses and homes, going as far as to murdering people. Supernatural beings still managed to keep their existence secret, but they too were subjected to the horrors of the riots and killings. During midday's peak on the summer solstice an eclipse came, and this was when the violence reached its peak. Memoir seemed destined to be ran into the ground, to fall to ruins like ancient Rome, yet not all hope was lost. Out of the shadows came nine cloaked figures. Hoods drawn, shadows cast over their face, no one knew who exactly these beings were real. Their presence distracted everyone, both mortals and supernatural beings alike stopped the rioting to just stare. As quickly as the violence came it faded entirely for the presence of these figures seemed to have a tranquil effect over everyone. Drawing their hoods back, the cloaked figures revealed themselves as gods and goddesses, and announced that they are taking over the city. Since then there has been no violence, and they have watched over Memoir. Not everything is destined to stay peaceful forever, and there are whispers among citizens that another civil war may still be in the distant future. The war between supernatural creatures commenced once more, and they battle in secret for control over the city, for the right to exist. Time will only tell if their actions will cause the serenity to shatter into a million splintered fragments. Will you keep the peace, or will you urging on the fight?

Welcome to Phoenix, Arizona, land of the sun. It's a buzzing place where people are just trying to make a living. December 2011, the government of the united states passed laws to make us citizens. Unkillable, unhuntable and members of society. This came after the discovery in 2003 that we even existed. But these laws...they are not accepted by most of the world. To them we are dangerous, corrupted and a threat to their perfect society. They act as if we would snatch them from their beds and make off with their children in the night. They will not listen to the reasoning that we left them alone for all of our history, why should anything change now? While some of us are out in the open, they are shunned by humans and lycathropes alike as they pose a threat to our tender society...the rest of us live in secret, pretending to be human for our lives must remain the same as they always have. Plot/Intro: Where did you grow up? Where did you take your first steps, learn to ride a bike, or have your first kiss? Was it in a city or a small town? Was it a suburb or a ghetto? Did you get a car for your sixteenth birthday or could your parents hardly afford you a card? Did you get straight As all throughout high school or did you drop out when you were sixteen? Don’t tell me the answers to these questions because, quite frankly, I don’t care. The past is the past. And, generally speaking, there’s really no difference between a person that had a great childhood and a person that had one that was not so great. Because really, when you think about it, everybody spent their childhood and teenage years waiting to grow up.

Well now you’re grown up. You’re grown up and in Miami, Florida. I don’t know how you got here, maybe you’ve lived here your whole life or maybe you got tired of your last setting and boarded a plane without telling anybody. Again, I don’t really care. The point is, you’re here now. You’re here in the city of parties and excitement, the city that so many people talk highly of and dream of living in. However, you’re probably starting to realize that the actual experience doesn’t match the stories. Sure, the parties are exhilarating and boredom is pretty much a myth but that doesn’t make up for the brutality of Miami. Rumors spread like wild fires and dark secrets lurk around every corner. See that man sitting next to you on the bus? I’ve heard that he’s a serial killer and operates a meth lab. See that woman across from you? She’s over thirty and still has her eye on high school boys. Whether you believe what you hear or not, this is the kind of buzz that circulates the city. This is what Miami’s all about.

Are you still interested in living here or are you afraid of being eaten alive? Are you going to stick it out in this fast-paced city or are you going to run for the hills? If you do decide to stay, be prepared to live every day like it’s your last. It doesn’t matter if you’re a saint, a sinner, or right in the middle, you never know what Miami has in store for you. So, you better not dare waste a single second dreaming about the future like you did when you were a child. Hit the pause button and enjoy life as it is. Party it up in the city of parties. Make a move on that someone that you’ve had your eye on before it’s too late. You’re going to live in the moment and not give a single thought to tomorrow. You and me, we’re forever young.
